Eliminate Loose Debris, Trim Branches, And Prepare An Agent
Set up an extension ladder next to the mobile home to use when cleaning the siding that is not within your reach. Move a deck brush across the mobile home's exterior to remove loose debris. Inspect each side of the home. If there are tree branches or parts of plants that are brushing up against the siding, use a pair of pruning shears to trim them.
Use vinyl tarps to cover grass and foliage that is located next to the mobile home. Prepare a cleaning agent by filling a pressure washer's reservoir with equal amounts of water and detergent. Add a small amount of oxygenated bleach to the cleaning solution. Turn on the pressure washer's agitator for a minute or two to blend the contents of the reservoir. Treat Surface Stains
Wear a pair of safety goggles to prevent debris from getting in your eyes. Stand near one corner of the mobile home. Plug in the pressure washer and point the pressure washer's nozzle towards the mobile home. Stand several feet away from your home as you administer the cleaning solution. If you have never used a pressure washer before, slowly press the machine's trigger until you are comfortable with the manner in which water is emitted from the nozzle. Move the nozzle in straight lines along the vinyl siding.
If there are any stubborn stains on the siding, add a small amount of chlorine bleach to the pressure washer tank's reservoir to strengthen the cleaning solution. A handheld scrub brush can also be used to loosen stains. Use plain water to rinse the siding when finished.
Plant Shrubs
After removing the tarps from the ground, decide where you would like to plant flowering shrubs. Use a measuring tape to assist with adding an even amount of space between the chosen portions of the ground. Use a garden shovel to dig holes. Place each shrub's roots inside of one of the holes. Fill the holes with dirt, water the base of each shrub, and add a layer of colorful gravel pieces or mulch around the base of each newly-planted item.
